…Wolekanle replaces Ogunwuyi after resignation; Adedayo to combine new role with donor agencies portfolio
Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has appointed Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, widely known as Wolekanle, as his new Chief of Staff.The appointment follows the resignation of the former Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.
Governor Makinde also approved Mrs. Aderonke Adedayo as Director General of the Oyo State Due Process Office.
The appointments were contained in letters signed on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Musibau Babatunde.
Wolekanle, a grassroots mobilizer and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had previously served as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission.
Mrs. Adedayo, who is currently Special Adviser on General Intervention and Donor Agencies, will retain her present portfolio while taking on the additional responsibility as DG of the Due Process Office.
