In a significant breakthrough, the Oyo State Police Command has arrested three individuals suspected of possessing and selling human parts in Ibadan. The suspects, including a pastor, were apprehended during a routine stop-and-search operation along the Adekile area of Agugu. Oyategbe Joseph, Alfa Onaolapo Taiwo, and Pastor Ayodele Taiwo are currently in police custody, facing charges related to the unlawful possession and sale of human parts.

The police operation also led to the arrest of six suspected members of a robbery syndicate operating within the Ibadan metropolis. The suspects, including Kelvin Daniel, Idris Ramon, and Christopher Solomon, were caught with 18 mobile phones, an Opay ATM card, and a tricycle believed to have been used for their operations.

The Oyo State Police Command has reassured residents of its commitment to ensuring safety and urged the public to remain vigilant, reporting suspicious activities to the nearest security agency. The success of these operations is attributed to public cooperation, highlighting the importance of community partnership in effective policing.
