In a heartwarming display of kindness and community spirit, the Sam Olu Alo Foundation (SOAF) has stepped up to support over 1,000 widows in Ekiti State’s Ido-Osi Local Government Area. The foundation, led by Prophet Sam Olu Alo, distributed clothing materials, food items, and cash gifts to help alleviate the impact of Nigeria’s current economic challenges.
The annual outreach event also included scholarship awards for secondary school students, highlighting SOAF’s commitment to education and community development. Prophet Alo used the platform to urge Nigerians to adopt a culture of giving, stressing that true progress begins when individuals take responsibility for uplifting others.
Speaking on national issues, Prophet Alo backed President Bola Tinubu’s decision to withdraw police orderlies from VIPs, saying it would make officials more accountable and sensitive to ordinary citizens’ security needs. He also encouraged Nigerians to hold state governors accountable, especially with increased federal allocations, rather than relying solely on the federal government.
On insecurity, Prophet Alo condemned negotiating with bandits, advocating for a firm government stance against criminality while welcoming repentant individuals who surrender. The outreach underscores SOAF’s dedication to social welfare amid Nigeria’s growing challenges
