Nigeria’s Super Eagles have taken home a whopping N3.56 billion ($2.5 million) for securing third place at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. They defeated Egypt 4-2 in a nail-biting penalty shootout after the match ended 0-0 in regulation time. Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali was the hero of the night, saving two crucial spot-kicks, including one from Egyptian star Mohamed Salah.
Senegal emerged champions, beating hosts Morocco 1-0 in the final, with Pape Gueye scoring the decisive goal in extra time.
